So it's been a long time!

It's been about seven years since I logged into deviantArt and there's been a lot of life between here and then. I've lived in a few different cities in Australia, collected good people into my world, completed a university degree, travelled overseas through the mountains and forests I'd only painted from photos, grew up a lot and now live in a big city with a big fluffy cat and a lot of small plants. When I went to university I largely dropped off the online world and it's only in the last year or so I've started to return to old haunts. The one thing that hasn't changed in all that time is I've still been making art.

To everyone, thank you for the kind words you've continued to leave here in my absence. It's quite a feeling to come back and see them. I apologise if you sent a message and never received a reply, there were a number of years where online communication felt overwhelming. But I miss the art community here that I grew up with and that encouraged and supported each other in such a unique way that is hard to come by nowadays. I grew a lot as an artist and person in my teenage years here.

Well here I am back in my late twenties, still drawing winged things and other things and ready to tentatively replant this garden and see it grow again.
