Artist's Comments

A speedpainting of about four hours for my part of a trade with the loverly *Zyleeth. With dA's new gallery system, I feel more comfortable uploading less refined work because I can now separate it from the finished stuff. :) So with luck, I'll be posting art more often now!

In an attempt to knock some value sense into myself, I painted this in monochrome first and then painted colour over the top. My tendency to neglect stronger values out of fear of ruining paintings is a habit I'm trying to get rid of.
