Another shorter painting, this time for *Flying-Fox who has one of my favourite dragon designs out there.

I'm not so sure on this one - I can see enough problems with it that it worries me how many I'm not seeing. ;) I always have favourite spots of paintings though and there's one tiny section of feathers on this that makes me less aggravated by odd butt twists.


Time: 4-5 hours
Tools: Photoshop CS3, Wacom Intuos 3

ooh, pretty. *loves your artwork* For some reason, I actually like the wings and feet best on this piece of your art. The windsail just seems to glow, and the feet stand out for some reason, lol. Very nice artwork. ^__^

What kind of brush do you use for them?
I can see what you mean about the rear end too, but I can't really put a finger on what's weird.

Okay, I'm really bad at giving critique... The only thing that bugs me is the arm. It seems like you ought to be able to see more of it.

I love and hate the fact that you take as long on a speedpainting as I do on a regular picture and it looks a billion times better ^^;
