When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.
Artist's Comments
A gift for a good friend of mine.
This has its problems as all art does, but I like it all the same. One day I'm sure I will discover the trick to painting metal and having it look like metal, but for I can amuse myself floundering around with colour and reflections. I still have an awesome time painting though, so it doesn't bother me too much. Google is great for finding inspiring photos. This background was inspired by a couple of beautiful photos I found through the wonderful world of Google image search. It always works as a good last resort. The darker dragon may be a little too dark, but hey, it makes you look closer. Edit:This is my 101st devitation. Comments
I use Google image search as a first resort!
The dragon looks rather ghostly, like an outline. Perhaps not what you intended, but lovely nonetheless. -- My novel! I think the darker dragon is dark enough - if it were any lighter, the whole atmosphere might have been ruined. *sags in the sight of this stunning piece, jaw slacking as she stares* o_o....
... So beautiful. So freaking beautiful. The metallic dragon has an extra set of forelimbs???!?!? oO Woah.... neat!!! Do you know what place or country your pictures came from on Google? I can't stare at this drawing enough!!! The lighting on the metallic dragon, the blue dragon (which looks like if, if it isn't supposed to be ^^ -- ~ Warlord Leccathu Fürvicael - obsessed Elfman fan, draconic, and Mst'ie LONG LIVE DANNY ELFMAN! Friends: *rah-bop,~StaedSocahn,*Silerenth It's really amazing! but if that second leg is not an extra front leg and is a back leg it seems too far up, even if it's long, hmm. I think it does look slighlt ymetalic, or atleast shiney, I like how the light reflects and I can't believe this is a painting, you've got some crazy talent, holy shit.. o.o
-- Art is to the world what a mask is to the face. - The Earth wouldn't get treated like it does if it wasn't a she. I love this. You do such great work
I like the dragon un the foreground. He almost looks transpartent. I like the color scheme too. It adds a somber effect to the piece. Which fits well with the dragons looking like they're ready to go to sleep. Very cool, as usual -- If you think you're too small to be effective, you've clearly never been in the dark with a misquito My myspace page! Oh my goddess!
