Commission of NearToTheSky and Etath. They're so sweet.
The colours of this were inspired by a sunset I took photos of a while back now. It had this amazing, rustic gold atmosphere. This ended up diverting from that, but that was the inspiration.  I actually really love painting 'couple art' like this; it's just a happy sort of art. Time: 15 hours maybe. Tools: Photoshop, Wacom Intuos 3 tablet Music: Adore Adore and Beautiful Lie by Yoav. Beautiful songs!  Comments Beautiful <3 they look so in love. I love the golden atmosphere.

Your clouds are just so charming and warm in this picture, it really reminds me of the old oil paintings in art galleries. Just the soft, blotchy style is gorgeous and makes it look so real. The dragon's anatomy is stunning, I especially love the lighting on the wings, It's just so real. Awe-inspiring job, as always. -- Oh blah blah blubbery blah  Gosh thats beautiful! For a minute I thought it was oil painting. And a side note, I love the way you did the underside of Etaths paws. Thats a hard area to draw and you did it (and the whole thing!) flawlessly.
