When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

I spent hours on this. Hours, a long, long time, getting shading and details right. And then what does the scanner do. I am not exagerating when I say this looks ten times better in real life, my scanner likes to take the life out of cool colours, and don't even let it near black. So I'm annoyed.
But anyway, I am very proud of the original of this. It's done completely in chalk pastels, and has a variety of textures and colours. (the black does actually have a blue sheen in real life). Sadly, Lissma, who is this beautiful dragon, won't get the full effect. I hope she likes it anyway, despite the fact that she asked for a more dynamic pose. ^^' This was what the inspiration hit me with, so this is what I drew. Art is mine, Lissma (c) to  Comments
 scanners completely change the look of your work, it does it to mine to.
This looks fab still though  Love to see the real one. One day theyll invent "good" scanners!-- Dogs feel very strongly that they should always go with you in the car, in case the need should arise for them to bark violently at nothing, right in your ear  this image is only 60kb
 I think you just need to change compression options of your scanner Ah, we can all hope for that day. Thanks for the kind words! ^^-- I'm going to live forever. So far it's working. Yeah, I probably do. ^^' I try to keep pics under 100kb though, I remember my old very slow net connection.
